House System

Each child at our school is assigned to one of four houses, each named after traditional boats of the Mahurangi area. Siblings are placed in the same House.

Students can earn House Points for their House by:

• living their Values
• working well in class
• achieving success in sports or other challenges
• coming to school in a Travelwise Way (walking, riding to school, or coming on the bus)

At the end of each term the points are tallied and a winning house is announced. At the end of the year, the House with the most points receive their name on the House Shield.
