Tena Koutou, Talofa Lava, Malo e Lelei, Namaste, Ni sa bula, Noaia’e mauri, Fakalofa lahi atu, Kia Orana, Ni Hao, An Nyung Ha Sai Yo, Nay Ho. Greetings to our school families.
This week I attended a very emotional farewell for a former Principal and friend, who is leaving a school after a long period of service. I was reminded of how strong the connection is between families and schools on a personal level. Although academic results, systems and structures matter, it’s the moments that are created by taking the time to really get to know our students, and through them extended families, that have a truly deep impact on lives. We are in this business because we love to develop those bonds with our students and make their time here at Snells Beach School as successful as we can. Parents have the same focus and together we can achieve great things. Thank you to all those parents who do connect with us face to face, via email, the Facebook page, or phone calls. Please let your child’s teacher know how they can best communicate with you.
Nga mihi,
Kathryn Ramel
Principal

A huge thank you to all coaches, managers, parent transporters, and sideline cheerleaders that supported the teams this season. In particular Lovetta, Carla, TJ, Jean, Robaynne and Sarah from Netball, and Angela, Phil, Brenda and Tanya from Hockey. Your commitment made for an enjoyable season for many.
