Our Year 3 and 4 students from Manawa 1 and Puriri 2 headed off travel the seven seas recently………by chugging down the Mahurangi River on the beautifully restored Jane Gifford. As part of their scientific investigations into “Floating and Sinking” they were pleased to report that the country’s last remaining rigged sailing scow did NOT sink, and a wonderful day was had by all.
