Tena koutou everyone. We are very pleased to announce that Snells Beach School once again has a Kapa Haka group involving 75 of our students up and running as of yesterday. We are very lucky to have the expertise of Koea Kaka and Shelly Matiu from Whangarei who are helping our staff get up & running. Many thanks to Mrs Pauline Watkin, Mrs Erena Williamson & Mrs Kerry Gore who have offered to be the school co-coordinators. We have even managed to convince Miss Ramel that her guitar skills are worth sharing as well. Tami Green & Lovetta Bayer are our lovely parent helpers on a regular basis, & we have a team of other parents who are willing to help when they can. We are looking forward to our students performing at events in the very near future.
