J ROCK UPDATE

Excitement levels are rising as we move into the planning and preparation phase of J Rock. Names of Year 5 and 6 students have been collected and we have 52  eager to participate either on stage or back stage. We have decided to take 80 students this year (yes 80!!) so will be giving an opportunity to 8 Year 4 students to take part as a special taster. Auditions for the Year 4 students, as well as for those students who wish to take on main roles in the performance, will be taking place on Thursday 13 March at 9:30 am. We are also extremely lucky to have the wonderful choreography talents of Kylie Tippett again this year. URGENT REQUEST… We will need to do some major fundraising to make our performance outstanding and to cover the cost of the bus there and back. So- if you are interested in becoming a major sponsor OR are handy with a sewing machine for costumes, OR a hammer & nails for making our stage props ,please let Mrs Neels or Mrs Bradshaw or Kylie know asap. The countdown has begun  😆
