Junior Parents Reading Information Presentation
Parents are warmly invited to an “all you want to know about Junior reading at Snells Beach School” information presentation on Thursday 6 March 2014. We will be running 2 sessions-3:15-4 pm and 5:30 -6 pm in Kahikatea 1. Come along and take part in a typical guided reading lesson with Mr Morley (it will be a blast!), as well as a taste of the Fitzroy reading programme. Learn about the colour wheel graded readers, skills and assessment levels with Mrs Neels. Mrs Watkin, Miss Jolliffe and Mrs Mackay will also help you experience a variety of independent reading activities. If any of your children will be accompanying you they will be well looked after by Mrs Corkin in Kauri 2. Brush up your sitting on the mat skills and join us. We look forward to seeing you there!
