This week is really all about us getting to know each other. Despite some students being in Puriri 2 for a second year there is much for us all to learn about each other and about Year 5.
We have to decided on what Homework will look like this year; what we would like to do in school; who is doing what job in class/school etc.
We have to do some assessment work to see if we remember all the things we learnt last year and whether we have learnt some more things over the holidays too.
We also have to have a day off on Thursday to get over all the excitement of being back in school.
We have a myriad of notices of every kind to give out and there is also the horror of the ‘stationery’ get through but soon we will all be back in the routines of school days and everything will flow along peacefully.
